 Fire Island is located about 45 minutes outside of New York City, just a 30 minute ferry ride across the Great South Bay. Fire Island itself is a barrier island that stretches over 32 miles eastward from Moriches Inlet to Fire Island Inlet. It is a premier getaway spot for families and friends.
